“I was dying when I met Summer and did not know it. I was taking a very high amount of a medication and I had no transportation to the doctor, until Summer stepped into my life. It was almost too late, I nearly died on my birthday. But, thanks to my new PCA (Jody) I did not. Once I got out of the hospital, things got better and better. Because of Summer, I met Amber and Jody. Now I have a nice apartment.

Jodie comes five days a week an makes sure I have food. She takes me to stores and helps me with my appointments. She talks to me every day. Some days I can hardly wait to see her- she is my sunshine!

Amber comes one day a week to take me to meetings. She helps me with my recovery and mental health. We play games and talk about life, and she supports me. She is my angel.

So with a team like this, my future looks very bright.
